January 5, 2023 Illinois Minimum Wage
The Illinois Minimum Wage poster has been updated to include information on the recent amendments to the state’s One Day Rest in Seven Act.  Employers are now required to provide employees with an additional 20-minute break if they work more than 7.5 continuous hours and provide at least twenty-four consecutive hours of rest in every consecutive seven-day period. December 19, 2022 Washington Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Washington Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been updated to reflect an increase to the cap of weekly benefits by the Washington Employment Security Department.  Effective January 1, 2023, the maximum allowed weekly benefits increased from  1,327 to $1,427. December 16, 2022 New York Mandatory Labor Law Posters
All employers in the state of New York must make mandatory workplace postings electronically available to all employees by email or through the employer’s website. This includes all documents and information required to be physically posted at a worksite pursuant to state or federal law or regulation. Employers are still required to post these notices physically onsite as well. The law also requires employers to notify employees that these documents are available electronically. The District of Columbia Family and Medical Leave Act poster has been updated to reflect changes to employee eligibility for family and medical leave. An employee is now eligible for family and medical leave if the individual has been employed by the same employer for at least 12 consecutive or non-consecutive months in the seven years immediately preceding the date on which the leave will begin. November 18, 2022 Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been updated with an adjusted contribution rate and benefit amount under the state Paid Family and Medical Leave Act. Employers may deduct payroll contributions of up to 0.318% from a covered individual’s wages or other earnings, and the maximum weekly amount of benefits available to eligible individuals will increase to $1,129.82 per week. October 28, 2022 Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been released by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. A new law establishes a statewide program for paid family and medical leave. The program allows eligible employees to take 12 weeks of paid leave for qualified reasons, which will be funded through a payroll tax on employers and employees. Oregon’s new Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance program, known as Paid Leave Oregon, is a new program that allows employees to take paid time off for qualified family, medical or safe leave.
