The District of Columbia Family and Medical Leave Act During COVID-19 poster has been released by the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights. The COVID-19 Response Emergency Amendment Act temporarily amends the D.C. Family and Medical Leave Act to expand coverage during a public health emergency for employees working in the District of Columbia. The amendments are effective from March 17, 2020 to June 15, 2020. December 13, 2019 District of Columbia Paid Family Leave
The District of Columbia Paid Family Leave poster has been released by the District of Columbia, Department of Employment Services, Office of Paid Family Leave. The new law provides covered employees up to eight weeks of parental leave, six weeks of family leave, and two weeks of medical leave within a 52 workweek period.
