New Jersey Family Leave Act
The New Jersey Family Leave Act poster has been updated to reflect additional protections under the New Jersey Family Leave Act. A new law expands protections to allow employees forced to take time off to care for a family member during the COVID-19 outbreak with up to 12 weeks of unpaid family leave in a 24-month period without losing their job. The District of Columbia Paid Family Leave poster has been updated to reflect an increase to the number of weeks of paid leave available to eligible employees. Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been released by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. A new law establishes a statewide program for paid family and medical leave. The program allows eligible employees to take 12 weeks of paid leave for qualified reasons, which will be funded through a payroll tax on employers and employees. Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been updated with an adjusted contribution rate and benefit amount under the state Paid Family and Medical Leave Act. Employers may deduct payroll contributions of up to 0.318% from a covered individual’s wages or other earnings, and the maximum weekly amount of benefits available to eligible individuals will increase to $1,129.82 per week.
