The Washington Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been updated to reflect an increase to the cap of weekly benefits by the Washington Employment Security Department. December 22, 2021 Colorado Paid Leave and Whistleblower
The Colorado Paid Leave and Whistleblower poster has been updated to reflect changes to the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA). Beginning in 2022, the HFWA covers employers of any size and allows employees to earn 1 hour of paid leave per 30 hours worked, with a maximum of 48 hours of paid leave per year. October 4, 2022 Oregon Paid Leave
The Oregon Paid Leave poster has been released by the Oregon Employment Department. Oregon’s new Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance program, known as Paid Leave Oregon, is a new program that allows employees to take paid time off for qualified family, medical or safe leave. July 21, 2023 Colorado Paid Leave and Whistleblower
The Colorado Paid Leave and Whistleblower poster has been updated to reflect expanded qualifying reasons an employee may take leave under the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. The expanded leave provisions include grieving, attending funeral services or memorial, or to deal with financial and legal matters after the death of a family member, or evacuation of the employee’s place of residence, or closure of a family member’s school or place of care, due to unexpected occurrence such as inclement weather or power/heat/water loss. December 4, 2023 Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been updated with an adjusted contribution rate and benefit amount under the state Paid Family and Medical Leave Act. Employers may deduct payroll contributions of up to 0.46% from a covered individual’s wages or other earnings, and the maximum weekly amount of benefits available to eligible individuals will increase to $1,149.90 per week. January 3, 2024 Illinois Paid Leave
The Illinois Paid Leave poster has been released by the Illinois Department of Labor. A new law requires employers to provide employees with up to 40 hours of paid leave per year to be used for any reason. January 16, 2024 Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been updated to reflect changes to filing claims and employee job protections. Approved applications will be paid by the FAMLI Division within two weeks after the claim is filed, and weekly thereafter for the duration of the approved leave. February 8, 2024 Illinois Paid Leave
The Illinois Paid Leave poster has been updated with a telephone number employees can use to file a complaint with the Illinois Department of Labor, Leave Rights Division. The poster was also updated with information regarding frontloading paid leave. Employers may provide employees with all paid leave hours at the start of a 12-month period and any unused frontloaded leave does not have to be carried over. August 13, 2024 Oregon Paid Leave
The Oregon Paid Leave poster has been updated to reflect the ability for employees to apply for leave with Oregon Paid Leave Benefits online at frances.oregon.gov.
