The minimum wage will increase from $10.10 per hour to $11.00 per hour effective October 1, 2019. Future minimum wage increases were also added to the poster effective September 1, 2020 to $12.00 per hour, August 1, 2021 to $13.00, July 1, 2022 to $14.00 and June 1, 2023 to $15.00. The new law, in addition to previously covered absences, now requires employers to provide paid sick leave for a mental health wellness day, and  allows a covered employee to take leave if they are a parent or guardian of a child who is a victim of family violence or sexual assault.
