November 6, 2024 Connecticut Paid Sick Leave
The Connecticut Paid Sick Leave poster has been updated to reflect new legislation that significantly expands existing paid sick leave by requiring all private employers provide employees with paid sick leave no later than January 1, 2027. Beginning January 1, 2025, the new law applies to employers with 25 or more employees, expands the definition of covered employee, and broadens employee eligibility to take paid sick leave. November 5, 2024 California Workers' Compensation
The California Workers’ Compensation poster has been updated to reflect that an employee may consult a licensed attorney to advise the employee of their rights under the workers’ compensation laws and that the attorney’s fees, in most instances, will be paid from an injured employee’s recovery. October 29, 2024 Minnesota Minimum Wage
The Minnesota Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage. The minimum wage for all employers will increase to $11.13 per hour effective January 1, 2025. The poster was also updated with information regarding the state’s wage theft law. October 29, 2024 Arizona Minimum Wage
The Arizona Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage. The minimum wage will increase from $14.35 per hour to $14.70 per hour effective January 1, 2025. Order Updated Poster >
October 22, 2024 Maine Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Maine Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been released by the Maine Department of Labor. The new Maine Paid Family and Medical Leave law will provide up to 12 weeks of paid leave for family leave, medical leave, safe leave or leave related to a family member’s impending military deployment. Payroll withholdings from employee’s pay for the program will begin on January 1, 2025 and benefits will begin in 2026. June 24, 2024 Maine Minimum Wage
The Maine Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase to the salary requirement necessary for employees to be considered exempt from overtime requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The District of Columbia Wage Transparency poster has been released to comply with a new law requiring employers to post a notice in the workplace regarding the Wage Transparency Act. The Wage Transparency Act was recently amended by the Wage Transparency Omnibus Amendment Act of 2023.
