Labor Law Updates

The Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation poster has been updated to reflect changes to certain deadlines when filing a claim with the Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission. A new law shortens the time an employee is given to file a claim for benefits if the employee had previously received workers’ compensation benefits for an injury. In addition, the law requires an employer to send a report to the Workers’ Compensation Commission via the Commissions Electronic Data Exchange. The Oklahoma Minimum Wage Statutory Language poster has been released by the Oklahoma Department of Labor.  The poster provides the statutory text for the Oklahoma Minimum Wage Act. Order Updated Poster >

The Oklahoma Workers' Compensation poster has been updated to reflect a change to the state's workers' compensation law adding chiropractic services to allowable medical treatment. Order Updated Poster >

The Oklahoma Unemployment Insurance poster has been updated to reflect that employees can file unemployment insurance claims online. The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission’s website address was also updated. Order Updated Poster >

The Oklahoma USERRA poster has been released by the Oklahoma Department of Labor. A new law was recently passed to protect the job rights of individuals who voluntarily or involuntarily leave employment positions to undertake military service in the Oklahoma state military forces. The new law also prohibits employers from discriminating against past and present members of the Oklahoma state military forces, and applicants to the Oklahoma state military forces.
