July 10, 2020 Nevada Minimum Wage
The Nevada Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect the minimum wage effective July 1, 2020. The minimum wage increased from $7.25 per hour to $8.00 per hour for employees to whom qualifying health benefits are offered or made available. The minimum wage will increase from $8.25 per hour to $9.00 per hour for all other employees. Order Updated Poster >
June 29, 2020 Nevada Annual Daily Overtime Bulletin
The Nevada Annual Daily Overtime Bulletin poster has been updated to reflect that employees earning less than $12.00 per hour and offered health benefits, or less than $13.50 per hour without health benefits, are eligible for overtime if working over 8 hours in a 24-hour period or over 40 hours in a work week. Employees working in excess of these hourly rates, qualify for overtime when they work over 40 hours in a work week. Order Updated Poster >
May 7, 2020 Nevada Annual Daily Overtime Bulletin
The Nevada Annual Daily Overtime Bulletin has been updated to reflect an increase to the hourly daily overtime wage rates for employees with and without qualifying health benefits effective July 1, 2020. The daily overtime wage will increase to $12.00 per hour for employees offered qualifying health benefits. July 15, 2019 Nevada Paid Leave
The Nevada Paid Leave poster has been released by the Nevada Office of the Labor Commissioner. The Paid Leave Act requires employers with 50 or more employees to provide employees 0.01923 hours of paid leave for each hour worked, up to a maximum of 40 hours of paid leave per benefit year. July 15, 2019 Nevada Employee Sick or Sustained Injury
The Nevada Employee Sick or Sustained Injury poster was released by the Nevada Office of the Labor Commissioner. The new poster informs employees that an employer cannot require employees to be present at the workplace in order to notify the employer that they cannot work due to an illness or injury unrelated to work.
