May 7, 2020 Nevada Annual Daily Overtime Bulletin
The Nevada Annual Daily Overtime Bulletin has been updated to reflect an increase to the hourly daily overtime wage rates for employees with and without qualifying health benefits effective July 1, 2020. The daily overtime wage will increase to $12.00 per hour for employees offered qualifying health benefits. The District of Columbia Family and Medical Leave Act During COVID-19 poster has been released by the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights. The COVID-19 Response Emergency Amendment Act temporarily amends the D.C. Family and Medical Leave Act to expand coverage during a public health emergency for employees working in the District of Columbia. The amendments are effective from March 17, 2020 to June 15, 2020. April 22, 2020 New York Time Off for Voting
The New York Time Off for Voting poster has been updated to reflect that registered voters who do not have sufficient time outside of his or her scheduled work hours may take up to two hours of paid time off to vote in most public elections. The law also reinstates the presumption that employees will be considered to have sufficient time to vote outside their scheduled work hours if they have four consecutive hours between the polls opening and the beginning of their work shift, or four hours after the polls close.
