A new law modifies existing law to reflect that sexual harassment does not need to be severe or pervasive to be unlawful, and the characteristics of a sexual harassment includes written, auditory, or visual conduct of a sexual nature. The Minnesota Captive Audience poster has been released to comply with a law that requires employers to post a notice in the workplace regarding discrimination for nonparticipation in employer-sponsored meetings about religious or political matters. The Oregon Captive Audience poster has been released to comply with a law that requires employers to post a notice in the workplace regarding discrimination for nonparticipation in employer-sponsored meetings about religious or political matters. The Louisiana Genetic Discrimination poster has been updated to reflect a new law granting an employee leave of absence from work. The new law requires an employer to grant an employee a day’s leave of absence from work to obtain genetic testing or a preventive cancer screening when medically necessary. Order Updated Poster >

The Nevada Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect a correction. The minimum wage effective July 1, 2023 will increase from $9.50 per hour to $10.25 per hour for employees to whom qualifying health benefits have been offered or made available. The minimum wage will increase from $10.50 per hour to $11.25 per hour for all other employees. Order Updated Poster >

The Maryland Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect a minimum wage increase for all employers. The minimum wage will increase from $13.25 per hour for large employers and from $12.80 per hour for small employers to $15.00 per hour for all employers effective January 1, 2024. The Colorado Paid Leave and Whistleblower poster has been updated to reflect expanded qualifying reasons an employee may take leave under the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. The expanded leave provisions include grieving, attending funeral services or memorial, or to deal with financial and legal matters after the death of a family member, or evacuation of the employee’s place of residence, or closure of a family member’s school or place of care, due to unexpected occurrence such as inclement weather or power/heat/water loss.
