Labor Law Updates

The Oregon Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage. The minimum wage will increase to $14.75 per hour inside the Portland Metro area, $12.50 per hour in nonurban counties, and $13.50 per hour in the remainder of the state effective July 1, 2022. The Maine Minimum Wage poster has been updated to clarify that overtime must be paid at one and one-half times the employee’s regular rate of pay. Order Updated Poster >

The New York Electronic Monitoring poster has been released to comply with the new electronic monitoring law effective May 7, 2022. The new law requires employers who monitor or intercept their employees’ telephone conversations or transmissions, electronic mail or transmissions, or internet access or usage to post a notice in the workplace informing employees that their activity will be monitored. The New Mexico Paid Sick Leave poster has been released by the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions. Effective July 1, 2022, the new Healthy Workplaces Act requires employers to provide one hour of paid sick leave for every thirty hours worked.  Additionally, the new law requires employers to post this notice informing employees of their rights. The Nevada Annual Minimum Wage Bulletin has been updated to reflect the minimum wage effective July 1, 2022. The minimum wage will increase from $8.75 per hour to $9.50 per hour for employees to whom qualifying health benefits have been offered or made available. The minimum wage will increase from $9.75 per hour to $10.50 per hour for all other employees. Order Updated Poster >

The Nevada Annual Daily Overtime Bulletin has been updated to reflect an increase to the hourly daily overtime wage rates for employees with and without qualifying health benefits effective July 1, 2022. The daily overtime wage will increase to $14.25 per hour for employees offered qualifying health benefits. The daily overtime wage will increase to $15.75 for those employees not offered qualifying health benefits. Order Updated Poster >

The Nevada Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage effective July 1, 2022. The minimum wage will increase from $8.75 per hour to $9.50 per hour for employees to whom qualifying health benefits are offered or made available. The minimum wage will increase from $9.75 per hour to $10.50 per hour for all other employees. The District of Columbia Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase to the minimum wage rate. The minimum wage will increase from $15.20 per hour to $16.10 per hour effective July 1, 2022. This is a mandatory change. Order Updated Poster >
