The California Unemployment Insurance poster has been updated to reflect an expanded benefit to the Paid Family Leave Program. Beginning January 1, 2021, any employee who takes time off to participate in a qualifying event resulting from a spouse, registered domestic partner, parent, or child’s military deployment to a foreign country is eligible for benefits under the California Paid Family Leave Program. January 6, 2021 New York Minimum Wage
The New York Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase to the minimum wage for Long Island and Westchester County and remainder of New York State. The minimum wage for Long Island and Westchester County will increase from $13.00 per hour to $14.00 per hour and the remainder of New York State from $11.80 per hour to $12.50 per hour, effective December 31, 2020. The minimum wage for all employees in New York City will remain at the same $15.00 per hour rate.
