Effective January 1, 2022, the minimum wage rate will increase from $12.32 per hour to $12.56 per hour for non-tipped employees and from $9.30 an hour to $9.54 per hour for tipped employees. December 22, 2021 Colorado Paid Leave and Whistleblower
The Colorado Paid Leave and Whistleblower poster has been updated to reflect changes to the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA). Beginning in 2022, the HFWA covers employers of any size and allows employees to earn 1 hour of paid leave per 30 hours worked, with a maximum of 48 hours of paid leave per year. December 20, 2021 New Jersey Family Leave Act
The New Jersey Family Leave Act poster has been updated to reflect additional protections under the New Jersey Family Leave Act. A new law expands protections to allow employees forced to take time off to care for a family member during the COVID-19 outbreak with up to 12 weeks of unpaid family leave in a 24-month period without losing their job. December 20, 2021 New York Hospitality Minimum Wage
The New York Hospitality Industry Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage.  The minimum wage in Long Island and Westchester County, NY will increase from $14.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour, and the minimum wage for service employees will increase from $11.65 per hour to $12.50 per hour effective December 31, 2021.  The food service worker minimum wage will also increase. The minimum wage for the remainder of New York State will increase from $12.50 per hour to $13.20 per hour, and the minimum wage for service employees will increase from $10.40 per hour to $11.00 per hour effective December 31, 2021. The New York Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase to the minimum wage for Long Island and The New York Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase to the minimum wage for Long Island and Westchester County and remainder of New York State. The minimum wage for Long Island and Westchester County will increase from $14.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour and the remainder of New York State from $12.50 per hour to $13.20 per hour, effective December 31, 2021. The minimum wage for all employees in New York City will remain at the same $15.00 per hour rate. This posting appears on the New York Combination Poster. December 14, 2021 Louisiana Independent Contractor
The Louisiana Independent Contractor poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the maximum administrative penalty amount for misclassifying a worker as an independent contractor. December 10, 2021 North Carolina Minimum Wage
The North Carolina Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect amendments made to the North Carolina Wage and Hour Act. The amendments require employers to provide written notice to new hires on promised wages, to notify employees in writing at least one pay period prior to any changes to wages, and requires employers to send final paychecks through regular pay channels or by trackable mail if requested by an employee in writing.
