The District of Columbia Family and Medical Leave Act During COVID-19 poster has been updated to reflect that the temporary amendments to the District of Columbia Family and Medical Leave Act to create new job-protected leave for employees for various COVID-19 reasons has been extended through October 9, 2020. The California COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave poster has been released by the California Department of Industrial Relations.  A new law requires certain employers to provide eligible employees with paid sick leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. These provisions are effective until December 31, 2020. Order Updated Poster >

The Illinois Victims' Economic Security and Safety Act (VESSA) poster has been released by the Illinois Department of Labor.  The VESSA Act allows employees who are victims of domestic or sexual violence to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave to seek assistance. The Act also prohibits employers from discriminating against employees who are victims of domestic or sexual violence. Order Updated Poster >

The Colorado Fair Employment poster has been updated to reflect the amending of the definition of race under the state’s anti-discrimination laws. Discrimination on the basis of one’s race now includes traits such as hair texture and type, and protective hairstyles that are commonly or historically associated with race.  The updated Fair Employment poster also replaces the state’s Pregnancy Accommodations poster. Employers are no longer required to post a separate Pregnancy Accommodations poster as information about the law is on the Fair Employment poster. The Virginia OSHA poster has been updated to reflect new mandatory penalty amounts for each serious violation, non-serious violation, and daily penalty for failing to correct a violation. The penalty for willful violations also increased. Order Updated Poster >

The Indiana Child Labor poster has been updated to reflect changes to the work hours for minors 16 and 17 years of age. This posting appears on the Indiana Combination Poster. Order Updated Poster >

The South Carolina Fair Employment poster has been updated with information on how to file a complaint under the new South Carolina Lactation Support Act. The poster was also reformatted. Order Updated Poster >

The New Mexico Fair Employment poster has been updated to reflect a new protected category. Employers are prohibited from discriminating against an employee for pregnancy, childbirth, or related condition. Order Updated Poster >

The Colorado Paid Leave and Whistleblower poster has been released by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. The new poster provides notice to employees that they are entitled to paid leave under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act, the amount of paid leave to which they are entitled, and that an employer cannot retaliate against an employee for requesting or using paid leave. In addition, the poster also addresses worker rights under the Public Health Emergency Whistleblower Law to express workplace health and safety concerns during public health emergencies. The New York Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase to the minimum  wage for tipped workers. The tip credit for employees under the Miscellaneous Industries Wage Order was reduced by 50% on June 30, 2020 and will be eliminated entirely on December 31, 2020. Order Updated Poster >
