The Texas Recovery Fund Notice Poster must be displayed by mortgage bankers and residential mortgage loan originators. The notice must be posted at each office location and on company websites. The notice gives consumers contact information for the Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending – as well as instruction on how to file a complaint and how to file a recovery fund claim.
The Texas Anti-Fraud Notice Poster must be displayed by financial institutions. The notice details how it is illegal under Texas law to intentionally or knowingly make a materially false or misleading statement to obtain property or credit, including a mortgage loan. If a person determines – or reasonably suspects – that fraudulent activity has been committed or is about to be committed, the law requires that person to report the information to an authorized government agency.
The Oregon Employee Work Schedules Law Poster must be displayed by retail, hospitality, and foodservice establishments that employ 500 or more workers worldwide. The posting details the rights of shift employees, including the right to know the median hours they will work each month and to have advance notice of their schedules. The poster must be displayed in a conspicuous place at the workplace (or provided on an individual basis if posting the notice is not feasible).
The California Barbering & Cosmetology Licensees Poster must be displayed by certain California employers, including licensed barbers and cosmetologists (e.g., hair salons, nail salons, estheticians, etc.). The notice must be clearly displayed and posted in these four languages: English, Spanish, Korean and Vietnamese.
The Texas Workers' Comp Coverage Poster/Notice to Workers on Construction Projects must be posted by all state contractors with state-building or construction contracts.
Texas law requires state contractors with state-building or construction contracts to display a special notice informing workers of their rights. The notice must be prominently displayed in areas easily accessible to all works, and it must be posted in both English and Spanish.
