    Attention NY Employers: State law requires you to make all mandatory labor law posters available to your employees electronically, in addition to hanging physical posters in your locations.  Easily fulfill this requirement with the Poster Guard® E-Service.

  • Choose English:

    • If you have no Spanish-speaking employees who are not proficient in English. 
    • This option automatically includes any foreign language translations that are required by federal, state, city or county law for all employers regardless of languages spoken in the workplace. 

    Choose Bilingual: (item U1200FBA)

    • If you have any Spanish-speaking employees who are not proficient in English - this will ensure maximum legal protection at the federal and state level.  
    • This option is for situations where the language requirement varies based on how many employees are Spanish-speaking. This area of the law is complex and evolving, as more and more states implement language-specific posting regulations. 

    Choose Bilingual Federal/English State & Local: (item U1200FBO)

    • If more than ten percent of your workforce includes Spanish-speaking employees who are not proficient in English.
    • This option provides the minimum required for federal compliance if you have a significant portion of Spanish-speaking employees who are not proficient in English.  Because federal regulations do not define what a 'significant portion' is, we are recommending ten percent or more. 
    • This option is an alternative to the complete Bilingual poster option outlined above.  

     

    Note: New Mexico state-specific postings are already provided in English and Spanish when you choose 'English' (item U1200F). Therefore, if you wish to order both state and federal postings in English and Spanish, select the Bilingual Federal/English State & Local – U1200FBO option.
