The English version automatically includes any foreign language translations that are required by federal, state, city or county law for all employers regardless of languages spoken in the workplace. This is a safe option if you have no Spanish-speaking employees who are not proficient in English.


The Spanish option is for situations where the language requirement varies based on how many employees are Spanish-speaking. This area of the law is complex and evolving, as more and more states implement language-specific posting regulations. To ensure maximum legal protection at the federal and state level, we recommend adding the Spanish option if you have any Spanish-speaking employees who are not proficient in English. The Spanish option is required for Puerto Rico.
